Celebrating the End of Summer!

It seems like it only just began but the truth is that the end of summer is swiftly approaching! September 22nd marks the end of summer and for that occasion, we think a backyard party is in order. To help you and your friends, neighbors, and family celebrate, what better way to end a season than with a big backyard bash complete with end of summer cocktails.
To mark the culmination of another season winding down, here are a two of our favorite drink recipes. So get a date on the calendar, send out the texts, emails, or invites, and hop to  preparations for a great evening!

  • Cucumber Cooler
Cucumbers embody the spirit of summer with a light and refreshing taste. To make these drinks, simply mix the following in a shaker with muddled cucumber and mint, then serve over ice in glass:

    • 3 cucumber slices
    • Handful of mint leaves
    • Spritz of lime juice
    • ¾ oz. of simple syrup
    • 1 oz. soda water
    • 3 oz. of favorite Pinot Grigio
  • Wild Tea Mojito
Another summer classic, brew mint or raspberry tea, finish with as bit of vodka and top with prosecco. You can even throw in a few berries for looks! Serve over rice in glass:

    • 2 oz. tea of choice
    • Spritz of lime juice
    • ¾ oz. of simple syrup
    • 1 oz. vodka
    • Splash of prosecco

Whatever you pick, there’s nothing like a gathering with loved ones to enjoy your beautiful backyard environment and the end of the season! Cheers!
